By accessing or using CuroPDF ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. CuroPDF is operated by CuroPDF Inc. ("we", "us", "our").
2. Description of Service
CuroPDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools for merging, splitting, converting, editing, compressing, and securing PDF documents. All processing occurs locally in your web browser using WebAssembly technology. We do not upload, store, or process your files on our servers.
3. No Account Required
CuroPDF does not require user registration or account creation. You may use all tools without signing up, logging in, or providing personal information.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Process files that contain illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code via PDF files
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service excessively
- Remove watermarks or security from PDFs you do not own or have permission to modify
5. Intellectual Property
The CuroPDF website, logo, design, and underlying code are the property of CuroPDF Inc. You retain all rights to the PDF files you process using our tools. We claim no ownership over your content.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:
- All PDF operations will produce perfect results for every file
- The Service will be available at all times without interruption
- Complex PDFs (encrypted, corrupted, or non-standard) will process correctly
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuroPDF Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Your sole remedy is to discontinue use.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
